Weaving

The families are organized in a network that provides educational courses, quality control and support for their production. This gives the producers, in particular women, an opportunity to engage in dignifying work while earning money for their families.

Weavers are working from home, giving our production a high degree of flexibility and enable us to cater for small and large orders alike. Focusing on quality improvement and ensuring to maintain our high standards, we have implemented modern throwing and warping techniques in order to supply superior raw material to our producers. Over 200 weavers have been trained to use improved hand powered shuttle looms.
